What is Breathworks?

Breathworks is a virtual 4 week cyclical program, focused on breathing techniques that transform mental action from a beta wave state, to alpha and theta wave states.

This program consists of four breathing practices:

  1. 5-6 minute meditation “Breathe to Focus”
  2. 7-8 minute meditation “Serene Mind”
  3. 12-14 minute meditation “Soul Sync”
  4. 16-18 minute meditation “Unlocking Flow”

Through the power of focused breathing techniques, our program helps you tap into the natural rhythms of your body and mind, leading you from the beta wave state of heightened stress and rush to the alpha and theta wave state of profound relaxation, mental clarity and creativity.

What to Expect

Each week we focus on mastering one technique at a time. We start with the shortest in length and by week four we will finish with longest and most advance technique.

Through each technique the participant is learning too regulate their state through their breath, as well to dive deeper into their inner journeys, week after week with effortless progression.

Each practice has its own unique proven scientific benefits:

“Serene mind”
Calms the amygdala(fight or flight center) of the brain, and activates the prefrontal cortex(center of calm, awareness, and clarity) of the brain. This shifts your perception into one that is calm, clear, and aware.
“Soul Sync”
Activates the vagus nerve, calming the parasympathetic nervous system. Releases Nitric Oxide( Neurochemical responsible for deep relaxation), and relaxes your heart rate and muscles, giving rise to deep calm in the body.
“Breathe to Focus”
Strengthens the cholinergic system(responsible for concentration), helping you concentrate faster, and with more ease.
“Unlocking Flow”
Activates both the cholinergic system, as well as the prefrontal cortex simultaneously , moving you into a state of prolonged calm and focus.
